About the Media Specialist: Mrs. Taylor graduated from East Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-8) in 2002. She completed her master's degree in Educational Media and Informational Science in 2006. She lives in Powell with her husband. She grew up in Newport, Tennessee, where her family still resides, including her two nephews. She enjoys reading, shopping, vacationing, attending the Clinton High School baseball games (her husband coaches the team), and spending time with her family.
About the Library: The NWMS library contains 6,783 books. It has an open schedule which allows students time to visit the library for research and to browse books. The Students may check out two library book at a time. Books are due two weeks after the checkout date. Late library fines are five cents per day. In the past two years, the library has accumulated many new books ranging from biographies of famous musicians to graphic novels about historical events. The selection of new entertaining books is growing rapidly.
